I am so not a Bongo fan but it just may look good in a 6! Only thing is it looks like it would be heavy as hell!

I'll wait to pass judgment until I see one in the flesh, but I can't say that the addition of extra strings would fix the tone, which is the sticking point of that bass for me.

I'd hit it. I really wish EB would offer a production Bongo made of a different wood (like mahogany). I wouldn't care if it was 30lbs.
