Sunday afternoons only though - they need the saturday afternoons for evening to set up. They said we could be loud, but couldn't get the damn man to tell if they'd charge for it. Funny, if you ask "would there be a charge or are you happy with beer money being spent" 3 times, you'd think they'd try to give you some sort of answer?

Can sombody try to find a venue in nottingham or birmingham?
That sounds great Ant. I doubt they'll give it to us for nothing, but if there are enough of us, we could each chip in a small amount to cover it. Do you want me to call them too, to try to find out - PM me. I am also willing to look into Brum - I have a friend from there, so will ask him first.

That'd be a good thing yes!

To be honest, I'm pretty sure we can "bully" them into letting us have the room for free. On a sunday afternoon, this room's gonna be empty otherwise.

Yes please, if you could look into brum that'd be good.

Anybody from nottingham willing to look into it?

OK update on this - it looks like we might be able to organise this meet around a gig, but we need to work out the logistics first. Keep your eyes peeled and I will let people know what the options are asap. Antoine - did you get my last PM?
