Need some help with guys that are talented with photoshop for my bands logo!

Alright, heres the deal. My band "DNR" is having problems with 1) Coming up with the look of our bands name logo and 2) having problems coming up our logo, which will be a heart monitor reading, if that makes any sense. You know, when your in the hospital, and your hooked up to a hear monitor and the screen from heart monitor shows those spikes on the screen everytime your heat beats.

Basically what i'm looking for is this:

1)Someone to take the letters "DNR" and using photoshop or whatever other program they choose (please dont use Microsoft Paint) to make the letters "DNR" look as bad ass as you can. We are a band that plays music thats a cross between Lamb Of God, Tool, Alice In Chains, and Opeth.

2) A cool idea for the logo for the band that will involve the heart monitor idea, but at the end of it, to turn into a flatline. As if to insinuate the person living, then suddenly dying. If that makes sense.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know some of you are really talented at photoshop, so lets see what you can do with the letters "DNR" and the flatline heart monitor idea.

If someone comes up with an idea thats really bad ass, a monetary compensation may be possible, no guarantees though.

Thanks for your time.

You should probably post this where graphic designers hang out, wherever that might be.

There are probably like 50 people on here that could make a bitchin logo for you.

Logo outsourcing...

Hey man, here's a website you should check out: http://www.crowdspring.com/

You basically upload the criteria for what you want in your logo. Then designers from around the world who are in the database bid to design your logo. You can set the amount you are willing to pay for your logo. You will have a huge amount of logo ideas submitted and then you can choose which one you like the best...This way gives you more options as far as picking your logo ideas. In the end you will be paying way less than you normally would by just going with a random graphic designer.

...and on the topic of "compensation": You get what you pay for! If you want free design/logos for free, you'd better be really good friends with a good designer. Speaking from experience.

If it's so easy, you would've done it yourself. Thus the invalid justification for no compensation. You don't have to put that much aside.

If mixing's soooooooooo easy, my clients would've done it themselves. But! They didn't. Whaddya know?

Good Start but the "DNR" lettering needs to be more prominent in the logo in relation to the wave line.

While I can't blame anyone for trying to get something for nothing or near nothing, you can't expect anyone to bend over backward just because your asking nicely.

You definitely get what you pay for. Budget some money and don't be such a cheap ass. If you can afford a Diezel you can afford a fucking logo.

I'm not really sure if "band logo" generation is really part of the purview of this forum... I'll leave the thread up for now, but you might have better luck with one of the other, less narrowly defined forums, such as SSS.

I'd offer to help, but my photochop skills are pretty minimal.
