Function "Search" is not working
Hello,
I've used the funktion search but didn't find something. The craziest is, that I used this funktion one or two months before and founded things with the same entries. So is it a bug or something other ?

Very annoying!
I mean, after all the money I've spent for my forum membership
and the most important of important things, the search function, isn't working! C'mon guysUPDATE: Sent an email to HC and got a reply in 5 minutes that said, "Our search function server has been disabled by a power outage this past weekend. We are working to get the server restored. It may take some time." So at least they are working on it. Thanks for the info and quick reply, HC team. Much appreciated. in the meantime you can try the poor man's vbulletin forum search by going to google and entering:
search term site:http://acapella.harmony-central.com obviously, replace search term with whatever it is you are searching for. ymmv but i find its better than nothing ![]()

frickin' hell.... how can a huge forum like this one work for months without a search function?
concerning paid membership... there are plenty good forums around with a working search function... i think a paid memberships would kill this -or any other in this respect- in 2 sec! my two cents |

Yes, the search problem is killing my experience of the classifieds. Took me a while to figure out it wasn't sheer idiocy on my part. I'm searching "Fulltone" in effects classified, a term that appears in at least three thread titles on the first page alone, and I am getting no results. Glad I found this thread!

One of the many reasons we're moving to HC 2.0 as fast as we can.

Google with "site:acapella.harmony-central.com" after the topic...works like a charm...a real search engine...that works...
![]() at least, until Anderton gets 2.0 up... ![]()

I know how to use google site search, but the problem with google is that it has no comprehension of time-relevant material. I dont need to get sent to some archived post from '03 when searching in the for sale ads. This forum is the same as every other prepackaged intarweb forum. Bithc to your host.
