Seeing Dethklok, Mastodon, High on Fire, and Converge tonight

It will be epic

From what I hear though, HoF and Converge could use some more time for their sets

I saw this show in SLC. Too bad my fever kicked in when I got there and I didn't watch anyone but Converge.
From all I know, it's an awesome show.
Don't expect mastodon to talk any though. Haha.
I was bummed they played their new album though. Not a big fan of that.

Are they playing the NorVa? I saw CKY and Fireball Ministry there a few years back and had a blast. The show was great and the bands ended up drinking with everyone at a bar down the street.

Ya its at the Norva

Probably the best venue I have ever been to/played at in my whole life.

The sound is awesome, the atmosphere is awesome, the back stage is awesome, its just all around win

I'll be there Sat. Going to have some fun pit watching when Converge go on.

I like all the bands on there, bar Converge. Never been a fan of spaz ultra core.

You could have many of times. I have seen Mastodon play in our buddies practice spot that holds maybe 30 people in 1999. We played with HOF a few times in small clubs and Converge still plays in small ass clubs every once in a while.

I saw Mastadon on the unholy alliance tour with Slayer(the most brutal mosh pit I've ever seen). In the middle of their set, Mastadon royally fucked up in the middle of one of their songs, and started it over from the beginning. I don't really care for Mastadon, never really have I guess. When I saw HoF, all their songs sounded the same to me, they were all really kind of bland, didn't interest me at all, the same with their last album. I bought it and a couple days later I gave it to a friend, I didn't like it at all. Dethklok I wouldn't mind seeing though. I watched some of their concert footage on youtube, and it looks like an overall fun and entertaining show with those guys. When they come around my way again, I'll be sure to check them out.

I was thinking the same about Dethklok, but you know what, they fucking brought it, big time. Plus any exuse to see Gene Hoglan behind a kit is reason enough for me to sit down and watch

You're home way too early. You should be hammered with blow'd up sluts talking your ear off gettin' ready to bang after a show like that.
