Titan is the company already... i don't see why colossus would be an issue with a comic book company as an amp model.

AND I VOTE FOR COLOSSUS.

that's an epic name for an epic amp. i remember when mesa had the colosseum and the name alone made me want it.

ares is ok.

"colossus" can't be a trademark in and of itself. It's a word, and old OLD movie, etc. Now if you tried to do the character or any part of it's image, might have a problem.

co⋅los⋅sus

–noun, plural -los⋅si  /-ˈlɒsaɪ/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [-los-ahy] Show IPA , -los⋅sus⋅es.
1. (initial capital letter) the legendary bronze statue of Helios at Rhodes. Compare Seven Wonders of the World.
2. any statue of gigantic size.
3. anything colossal, gigantic, or very powerful.
Origin:
1350–1400; ME < L < Gk kolossós statue, image, presumably < a pre-Hellenic Mediterranean language

And with that I don't understand TM laws. Don't see how you can trademark simply "apple". Maybe hence the "compromise".

I almost didn't see the end of what you said. I think it's just relating your product to a term... and the products need to be different for the same term. for example.... when i think apple i think fruit, computer, record label, ass shape, stupid kid name for coldplay guy... LOL.

If 2 bands wanted to call themselves apple there'd be a problem because you couldn't identify which product is which, but it doesn't matter as much with unrelated things.

Of the choices I picked "3100," but I like isvoid's idea the best.

BTW - that amp rips ass.
