We've already had attacks on Mosques, Mediterranean looking people, names that SOUND Arabic, etc. The stormfront crowd has already been busy around the country. Law enforcement ain't about protecting shit.

If a guy on your porch is firing through your walls at you, the only way a cop can help protect you is if he happened to be driving by your house at the time it happened.

Cops are supposed to write tickets, put up yellow tape, and clean up after (investigate and arrest) a crime.

Sadly it's almost at that point now and McCain is responsible for much of it.

People have got to realize that this is bad for the country. Deliberately confusing vulnerable people might be something you would do to some other country, like an enemy, but deliberately doing this to your own countrymen is despicable.

McCain is weakening his own country just to win, or just to spoil his opponents victory... A lot of people are saying that. That McCain is just "poisining the well" so that an Obama presidency won't be able to bring the nation together to solve it's problems. Similar to what was done to Clinton from day one when Jessie Helms and other republican congressmen stood in front of the whitehouse and vowed never to step inside as long as Clinton was in office. We all know how that turned out. That harms us all.

It harms us all when people think it is a one-sided affair. I think if we are going to condemn it(as I think we should) we ought to do so universally.

It's not just the USA. An ex girlfriend of mine, Meena (all 4 ft 10 of her), was attacked just after 9/11 by some thugs who thought she was a Muslim. She's a Hindu.
