Kurzweil PC2-R

You can download manuals from all of the various products and they all contain patch lists so you can see how many orchestral sounds are available.

P.S. -- Let's see if Walters is trying to bait us again (he seems to do so once a month).

With a Roland XV-5080 you can use the two SRX orchestra and string ROM's plus load 128 meg of sample memory and store orchestra samples on a memory card to also load.

SRX orchestra

What other ones please?

The cheaper Casios and Cheaper yamaha keyboards have alot of orchestra sounds but they sound very cheezy plus they are not rack mounts modules too

Whats the cheapest roland rack mount unit that can load the SRX orchestra expand boards? I'm just going to BYPASS the synth sounds anyway and just use the SRX orchestra expand boards so i can i do this a cheaper way??

1. Buy this, adding 8 GB of RAM, two faster internal hard drives, and an RME Hammerfall audio card, for approximately $ 6,200

http://www.visiondaw.com/vdaw_4U-5000X-CTLX.asp

2. Buy the VSL Vienna Instruments Symphonic Cube, FULL for only $11,970:

http://www.ilio.com/vienna/instruments/index.html

For a little over $18,000 you will have an ALL ORCHESTRA RACK MODULE.

For you Walters, this REALLY IS THE ABSOLUTE CHEAPEST SOLUTION.

I am guessing that would be cheaper than hiring an orchestra in the long run!

OK, I'll play. On the very slim chance that you're serious.

I think this is the cheapest module you can get that can use SRX cards (2 of them):

http://www.rolandus.com/products/pro...31&ParentId=20

They announced a new module that'll take SRX cards, but it's not on the roland site yet, and I haven't seen a definite price for it.

VSL Vienna Instruments Symphonic Cube

What is close to these ""VSL Vienna Instruments Symphonic Cube"" but cheaper?

What can i run this software with thats a hardware device instead of running the orchestra software on my window computer?

The computer has to be 2Gig processor and 4 to 6 Gig in RAM

Who makes a rack module or keyboard that is pure orchestra instruments buts its a hardware device?
