Do you guys have any suggestions on how to clean the 1/4 inserts on the Mackie??

I'm getting a fuzzy, crackling sound when inserting instruments on certain channels.
I'm pretty sure it's dust because it doesn't happen on certain inserts.

Craig De-oxit D-5, sparingly, then insert and remove the insert several times.

Those inserts have been known to have PCboard cracks as they get older also, which require resoldering.

A Caig sampler kit should be sent out with every board sold....

Go here http://store.caig.com/ (http://http://store.caig.com/) and get the audio/video kit for 40 bucks.... you'll use it on everything.

The progold pen they send with it is worth the whole trip. It's magic on a cell phone battery connection.
