I'm getting a little tired of paying mega bucks for cables and cords that start to fail in a month.
Can any of you guys recommend a catalog or website where I can purchase my own connectors, cables, and cords to build them myself???

There's a few places I've bought stuff from, but I'm drawing a blank at the moment on a couple of them... but here's one I have used and had good treatment from:
Parts Express Connectors index (http://www.partsexpress.com/webpage.cfm?&DID=7&WebPage_ID=21)
Parts Express wire / cable index (http://www.partsexpress.com/webpage.cfm?&DID=7&WebPage_ID=40)

I use only Neutrik (gold pins when available). The best prices I have found are from fullcompass.com
I like Horizon LowZ1 and Gotham GAC2 cable, but don't currently have a source for either.
The Mogami that's only 5pf/ft capacitance is available from Radial (the DI people) among others.
