Mixing drums in 2-track

Ok, I got a 2-track recording that I did of our band with a dat and I'm just wondering if I can bring the drums out some, because I didn't record them that loud. I'm guessing EQ, but I tried that already and it messed-up everything else.

Any tricks I should know to make this better?

you can try some multiband compression / expansion..

but your very limited to what you can change... changing one thing will effect the anouther
