I've seen you guys referring to "XY" micing... can someone explain this technique for me?

That is a good site... :cool:

But I wish it had pictures / diagrams of Blumlein and MS stereo up there... I see a lot of questions about those from people too, and it would be nice to have a one stop link that covered everything.

Thanks Blue... that's another good site... but not the one I was thinking of either. A month or two back, I found a really good one where the geometry (relative mic positions) were really well pictured... I'm still looking, and will post a link... when I find it again. :(
