Yet another thread on the cover band issue.
Has anyone been watching the INXS Rock Star Show?
The band which backs up the singers on the show is called the House Band.
These guys absolutely kick on every song they do. The go from the classics to modern. They add their own spin to every tune while retaining the original flavor of the song.
They added power chords to the verse of Gimme Some Lovin and they put a funky back beat to Lola. Just a few examples.
This show should be required watching for anyone in a cover band. :cool:
