ya'll should get a different name for yourselves instead of hiding behind the name of people who get paid a wage to play other people's music.
if you want me to consider you a musician, then record yer own shit and scratch that.
If what you do is music, then im gonna take a bunch of pop songs, re-record them at 1.2 times faster, and "make my own shit"

You are an idiot. The only djs who even claim to be musicians are scratch djs/turntablists and djs who actually do produce their own tracks and spin them. Most djs are just people who like music and/or like to get laid by club sluts. You really dont know shit do you? How old are you? 12? Without djs there would be no one to play the crap you propably listen to on the radio.

Yep, and we do. There are DJ's (Disk Jockeys) who play other peoples music & then there are Turntablists who use the Turntable in the spirit of a musical instrument. Turntablism is a musical artform and it has a method of notation similar to tablature for guitar.

hi,just for a precision i've seen a studio session photography (1985 i think) where a dj was scratching with a partition the dj on turntables was Dee Nasty.it was a work for the soul sonic force when afrika Bambaataa was in Paris.
Ask to John Robie,Arthur Baker and this kind of producers if they use this kind of technic on there productions if think yes cause in a song arrangement you cannot scratch how u want it is not a game it is a profesionnal production.
If some people think that i'm a troll it is ok for me :)
if some people think that i have a horrible grammar i'm sorry but english is not my principal way of expression.
