I would just like too tell you about my new system for the 1200s. I have build a new pitch fader unit, based on the original pitch control from the new mk3. You know when you are having problems with the pitch around the 0 area on the pitch, technics have solved this problem with a fader that has no fixed 0 point, but has a reset button for hitting the exact right tempo.
Now i have got the real mk3 fader build in with a new reset system i have
made, one for build in (then you get direktions where to make the holes for the buttons), or one where your 1200 stays the way it is, but you then mount a small box on the side of the 1200 with the buttons. In the system i altso build in a reverse button and the pitch ajust pot. that you normaly find under the plate, so you can use it when you play! and put it back for easyer pitching again.
I thought you might find this interresting, if you like the idea - let me
know! Its a complete new print, but you could change it with a screwdriver, lucky for mee the pitch Conections is a standart milti pin connecter. so its a easy kit to fit in, even if you thoose the model with the fixed switches.
Best regards
