This is my first time here because I am a guitar player. I just got out my dads old turntable (JVC-LA100) and the belt was dry-rotted. I bought a pack of belts now how do i put one on? Is there any sites with Diagrams?
I am only 13 help a guy out

I don't know man...I'm sure you noticed that this forum is pretty slow...sorry about that. I've never used a belt drive table so I won't be of much help. You might try the guitar forum while you're waiting for an answer from this one since there are alot of people there who grew up using belt drive turntables. I hope this helps.

I finally got it to work and spin fine but sometime when you are listing to music it will get off speed (slowdown and sound weird) And if I didn't know about a belt I sure as hell don't know about this

sounds like you just figured out why belt driven turntables are no good for DJ applications. The speed up and slow downs you're experiencing just come with the territory, even with a brand new belt on the best of belt driven decks. There really isn't anything you can do to fix it, all I can suggest is that you deal with it or start saving up for a direct drive.
