Best DJ Stand...

I'm finally getting all my gear together and I need a stand to put it on. My gear includes 2 Technics SL1200 M3D's, a Numark 3002x, a Boss SP-303, a Boss DR-202, and a Korg Kaoss Pad. I also have a Korg MS2000 Synth, but I think that I will use a seperate stand for that. Can anyone recommend a sturdy stand. I need it to be built like a rock. Also what type of stand are you using and how do you like them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I use my dresser. (chest of drawers, whatever you wanna call it.) "DJ stands" are rediculously expensive for what they are. As long your decks are sitting on something sturdy, you'll be fine. Take the $150 you were gonna spend on a stand and use it to buy records.

i agree with synrgy.....save it for vinyl....I use an old kitchen table with a piece of thick plywood on it to hold my stuff....

I bought a $60 folding table. It works just fine.

I built a HUGE desk that's the entire length of my closet(about 3/4 the length of my room), plus a little L wing at the end (about half the length of that wall).

materials:
8 - 4"x4"x28" posts
1 - 1"x24"x72" board
1 - 1"x24"x36" board

total cost: maybe $35 or so
