I know nothing about turntables, and I have gotten enough stuff on vinyl to need one of my own(my parents have one).
I'm just going to be listening to my albums, what would be the best purchase under $100.00?
I'm very concerned with the accuracy of the sound quality and the RPMs. I want things to be as accurate as possible.
I figured you folks would know best.
Thanks alot,
GZeus

if all you're really going to be doing is listening to albums, I would worry more about the cartridge then the turntable. All the turntable will have to do is spin the record, right? Just about any deck should do ya, but that's just my opinion. My only advice is, if you end up getting a belt drive (will be your most inexpensive option) be sure to have a good new belt on it.

Your best bet for advice is probably going to be to check out webpages for audiophiles.

For a $100 you are going to have to go with a belt drive. Unless you can find a used direct drive somewhere. If you can get a Sl1200. They are the most accurate over the longest period.

Did you get a turntable yet?
