I d like to have informations about the gemini xl 300 or the omnotronic DD 2220 since that are what i can afford right now.

not only would I not reccomend anything gemini makes underneath the XL-500s, but I strongly advise AGAINST the 300s. Try to trust me, and everyone else you've been reading from, since I know you've been doing research. You will not find ANYONE who will tell you that belt drive turntables are good for DJing. It just isn't so. Frankly I'm a little offended that brands like Gemini even MAKE belt driven turntables and market them towards DJs. You can generally find a pair of Gemini XL-500s used for under $350. You NEED direct drive though, there's no getting around it. At LEAST one direct drive, and then you'll understand the difference.

go to this page:

they have, amongst other things, 2 gemini SA-600s for about $150 each. Those would be good reliable starter decks, and you can't beat the price. (well, as far as I know anyway.)

those 500's are ok I guess... :) when I got my first decks I went straight for the 1200's .... if you know djing is what you want to do then go for the best .... you can always upgrade the mixer and headphones with no problems....but tables are a pain to do....My buddy just got mk2's and was trying to sell his old 500's ... hmm....he still has the 500's and its been awhile.....( I told him I would by one from him :) ) I guess the only thing hindering is price, but hey...anyone can get credit nowadays...hey Synrgy....lets drop some vinyl this friday...I think we're going to throw a little party...we still have all that booze to drink from last friday! :)
