Hi
I've got a numark mixer and i'm a scratch dj/turtablist (whatever you want it to call it). But i have to replace my fader every month because the numark faders are so F*** up. Can i place an other fader instead using the numark one's?

what kind of mixer do you have? I had a 3002x for about two weeks. It was starting to bleed through after about 4 days of good-hard skratching. I called Numark to find out if I could upgrade the fader so I wouldn't have to keep replacing it. They told me that there was no way to upgrade it without serious modification and voiding the warranty. Needless to say I now own a SM-3 with the optical infinity fader. My other choice was a Rane TTM-56 but it goes for $750. If you are serious about skratching, save up and get a Rane TTM-56 or a Numark SM-3 (I got mine for $299 at my local Guitar Center).
