How many of you guys spin cds? For those that have done both, which one do you like better? I've always been a vinyl guy, but lately I've been thinking that the benefits newer cd players provide over turntables might be too much for my fondness for records to deny...

I just use vinyl for now, but man those CDJ-1000's are tight, too bad they are a grand each...

My sentiments exactly. I could probably afford a pair if I wanted, but if I'd miss my tables if I got rid of them, and I think my brain would self destruct if I tried running all four. That, and I think some nagging voice in my head would keep me from spending that much money for a damn cd player...

If I was going to have one at all, I'd have to have two I think. I don't think I'd use it to mix cd's in with my records too much, I don't really run across too many songs on cd that I'd like to use anyway. But if I put all my vinyl on cd and played them over two of those babies, I think I'd like what came out. But of course I would miss my 1200's....

It's a personal choice really, I have a set of pioeer cdj's and i think they are brilliant. At the same time i could never give up my 1200's. I am into my old trance, like edm records, no respect and pre 1995 trance. A lot of tunes that i could never get on vinyl, i can now download and cost nothing. Although, the only downside is the cd decks take a lot of fun out of mixing in a hand's on sort of way. Bob
