What kind of stores sell color gells?

I am new to this area, but where can you get those colored transparent sheets that change the color of the light(i think they might be called color gells, but I might be wrong) Like can you buy them at a crafts store? Where do you guys usally get them? They would be for a homemaid light, so i would just want a sheet of it, i suppose.

not the greatest selection but theres some.

There will be some lighting companies in the area i'm sure. Look for lighting hire companies and theatrical suppliers. Phone the local theatre.. It's not cheap though...

I suspect that a lot of their gels are colour correction rather than theatrical. Worth a look though...

go to your local thearte and i am sure they have more gash gell than you can shake a stick at, that they will be please to send your way i would guess for free.

look up sound rental in the yellow pages,,,, any proffessional audio company will sell gels.....
