A friend of mine is selling one for $50. Should I buy it?? I could always use a power conditioner in my rack, but I wanted to ask you guys if any of you know if those once are good or not, etc..

Well it's only $9 more, new.
I wouldn't pay more than $25-30 for that particular one.
I think if you are going to waste a rack-space with one, it should do other things like have a light and a voltage monitor, but that's just me.

Actully.. its $50 canadian, on the MF website its $60 usd. Which means, I am getting it for atleast $20 less after shipping, etc..

I don't mean to highjack this, but I'm looking for a good power contitioner (with surge protection) too. What are some other good ones out there besides this?

Well then for $50 CAN for that thing used? Man, I think you can get much better units for that price. Still, a used one, but one that's twice as good.
