dude, you left out Ozzy and Till Lindemann, the guy from rammstein.
If you haven't seen Rammstein live, you don't know what you have missed.
So yeah, my vote goes for probably goes to ozzy until 1990, then it goes to till lindemann.

Thats a tough call. I think HR from Bad Brains is pretty good. Iggy Pop. Marilyn Manson is a good front man. Also, Brandon Boyd from Incubus.

Trey Anastasio is definitely not the only legit and active guitar god out now.

I picked Axl Rose. Bruce is a much better singer, but Axl was the better frontman in my opinion. Alice Cooper was great, back when he had his original band with him- we're talking much more than 20 years ago. Tyler was good, before Aerosmith sold out and went to hell. David Lee Roth is one of my all time favorites, but 20 years? That would put us at 1988. Dave was great when he was with Van Halen.
So yeah, Axl has no competition here.

The best frontman I've seen live is Scott Weiland...
Though not my favorite; that would go to Bass (Sebastian Bach)
Weiland is nuts though...... he gives you your moneys worth.

Yeah, you know, I never thought of including "others" like Baz in this. I was more focused on the choices but yeah, if we include people not mentioned, Axl has some competition. Eric Adams is damn good too.
That being said, I still prefer Axl to Bach. Bach's the better singer, Axl's the better rock n' roll frontman imo.
Expand this to 30 years, and I'd choose Roth. Roth could do some sort of a latin fusion project and it would still sound rock n' roll!

Thought this was funny...
Just them giving Axl a hard time while on tour (Bass, James, Slash, Kirk, Lars)

I've seen just about everybody listed, in their heyday, and I have to write in a vote for Scott Weiland.
He is mesmerizing, live.
