This is one I wrote a couple of months ago. I've got music to it, but haven't laid it down yet. The music and melody is a bit Beatles-esque.
Lemmee know what you guys think.

I could trip over the sofa and I could land with a crash
And I could come in on cue when Shirley talks about trash
But you never seem to be so amused at the simple things.
And I’m trying to be in your eyes a man that I will never be

She thinks that jerry does it better than me
No matter what I do
So I write songs about nothing at all just to prove that I can do it too.
I never go into my kitchen when I’m that neatly dressed
And my neighbors still knock on the door as if they’re still guests
And I can’t believe that these are the reasons why you treat me so bad
And it’s not as if your fantasy is something you could even have
She thinks that jerry does it better than me
