Homemade Gel Holders

Has anyone made their own gel holders for cans? If, so, what did you find to be a good material to use and how did you make them?

I had to rig a gel holder using duct tape at the last show, and it held up even with a 500 watt bulb. Used aluminum heat tape type stuff, and it stuck amazingly well... just taped it to four sides and left a little extra "breathing" room. Kept a fire extinguisher handy "just in case", but didn't even need it.

Sheet Aluminium. Cut it and bend it with some metal scissors...

I have also used the alumimun cookie sheets that are disposable. Can be cut with a utility knife.
