Hello all

I have looked and not found this comparison.

I am looking for something that I can move from computer to computer easy. This seems to be the only two I can find. I need your advice. Guitar port has variaty in amp modles. Is there a program that can be used ith the Edriol UA-3 that would do the same think that the guitar port can do?
both are usb.

does UA-3 have a real mic pre?

Which would you recomend.

Only recording gutiar and using loop tracks.

I have a cheap BERHINGER mixer a Tascam porta po2 and Hot Rod Delux amp, but dont want to have to drag that all out every time I get an idea.

Give the Aardvark USB3 a try. Great for "laptops" (my current set up). Comes with Cakewalk Guitar Tracks 2 (certainly enough to get a few ideas down with).
I just picked one up a few weeks ago - and have been quite pleased with it.
good luck
