Great "How To" Article on Soldering

Hey all,

I was looking up resources on How to Solder.

I thought this one was well written and seemed well thought out.

Maybe good to bookmark or add to FAQ if people who solder think its accurate.

For those who solder often, is this worth keeping in the FAQ?

Seems pretty good, except I'd use a braided solder remover or another device to remove old solder, instead of heating it up and blowing it out of the way like he recommends. I didn't have much of a problem with anything else he said.

I actually have a desoldering iron with the rubber bulb attached to it and everything. It was $10, and I like stupid gadgets.
