You probably get 50 threads a month about this, but anyway....
I'm gonna do some home recording, I have a Tech 21 Sansamp RBI for recording bass, and a Line6 Pod Pro for guitars, and I'd like to know a good soundcard for recording with those units. It need a 1/4" OR an XLR input, and I also need an s/pdif inputs, and I also want midi in and outs, and I want to be able to record at the maximum quality of the Pod Pro (24 bit / 48 kHz). I'd like to have a soundcard not to obscure, and also to be affordable. I'm using a PC with Windows 98 right now, but will be getting a newer computer soon probably with XP on it.
