Spencer Montague from danguitars.com is currently selling vintage Danelectro schematics and owners manuals for $10.00 each on his website {http://www.danguitars.com/Schematics.html } {1st picture}http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y280/DAT12/Dano%20Mania%20Forum/ff2baf0e.jpg . They are scanned {without my permission} directly from my book {Neptune Bound...The Ultimate Danelectro Guitar Guide}. Many photos on his website were also stolen from me {and others}, as well as a lot of Danelectro specs. and historical details. He recently copy/pasted a review I wrote http://www.neptunebound.com/deadon.htm to his website as if it was his own {2nd picture} in an effort to sell more guitars. Notice he edited out the part at the end that would have identified the source of the review {me}. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y280/DAT12/Dano%20Mania%20Forum/e0938ac3.jpg He also scanned rare catalogs directly from my book http://www.danguitars.com/user/Don't_Peek_-_1967.jpg as a lure to get people to go to his site, and further boost his phoney Dano' expert status. If you don't like dealing with thieves, stay away from Spencer Montague and DANGUITARS.COM.

The sad thing is you just did some advertising for him. A lot of people don't care if someone is breaking the law. I suggest having a lawyer send a cease and desist immediately and look into pressing charges.

The schematics/user manuals in question have been removed from our website as a courtesy to Mr. Tulloch even though he does not personally own the rights to them.
These specific schematics/user manuals used to be part of the paperwork that was supplied with almost every Danelectro/Silvertone amp or guitar with amp-in-case sold by the New Jersey based Danelectro company. This was of course back in the days when you were actually fortunate enough to be supplied with a good user manual and schematic when you purchased a new guitar or an amp.
At Mr. Tulloch's request, we have also removed any photos that he felt were exclusively his. Any remaining photos such as old Danelectro ads, etc. are scans from actual ads or photos that we have personally purchased, acquired or sent to us by other Danelectro enthusiasts. To the best of our knowledge none of these photos are copyrighted material.
DanGuitars strives hard to please our customers and has received hundreds of testimonials and accolades from satisfied Danelectro customers. Please go to: http://www.danguitars.com/Testimonials.html for a sampling of these testimonials.
We humbly apologize to Mr. Tulloch for any inconvenience we may have caused him and highly recommend his book Neptune Bound as the definitve book on everything Danelectro.

Fact is, you removed them ONLY because my publisher issued you a "cease and desist order, at my directive. Don't try and make yourself out to be some "nice" cooperative guy with solid morals. No, I do not own the "rights" to those schematics and owners manuals you scanned from my book and sold for $10.00 each. What I do own is MY copies that I found and purchased. The very same copies YOU stole from my book and attempted to sell to your "loyal" customers for $10.00 each. As far as all the pictures/content you've stolen from my website {and others} for years, that speaks for itself. As far as my book...It also speaks for itself.
