hello forum-
i am interested in a standalone daw, and saw the roland vs-1824cd locally for, like $250 (regularly 600). haven't had a chance yet to speak with the store-folk, but looked around online. found that this cd-enabled unit is relatively new, and seems to go for around $1300. seems like a great device that will serve my needs in many ways by a name i trust. but... i don't want to rush into this unit, and at the same time don't want this kind of deal to slip by! any advice on this unit, and the reality of this price is appreciated.
