Anyone else noticing the sudden rash of fake LPs on ebay?

It's funny ... they'll crack down on someone using the word Gibson to describe a legitimate copy ... yet there are numerous copyright infringement chinese guitars listed ... it seems to be more than usual ... anyone else notice?

Ebay can't police all the auctions all the time. I know several guys who sell China guitars on a regular basis on ebay. They are just very clever about the wording. Besides, where else are you gonna dump these things once you get tired of them ?

A friend of mine bought a fake Epi LP custom recently unknowingly. There are more fakes on ebay than genuine ones. I wouldn't buy an Epiphone LP for that very reason, not worth the hassle. This must be hurting Epiphone sales and I fancy the second hand market is gonna get hit bad too the way things are going.
