ok maybe more like a cello...
right to my onboard pc soundcard thats about 10 years old.
i am also using a spliced 1/4 to 1/8 cable to get it to plug into my pc..
so if you hear any noise thats me kicking that cable by accident.

that wierd one in the middle is a stock preset called "Zamfir?"..
I mainly got it for effects, thats why i aint really modeling any amps right now.

Very cool - I liked all the clips, but the crystal echoes was especially awesome.
That's definitely my kind of sound. I don't have an Axe Fx, but I might be able to tweak something like that on my VG-99.
How do you make sound clips like the "cello" ones which someone can click on and it starts playing?

i just run direct from the axe fx into my sound card 1/8th inch "mic" input (for the pc mic) then i use audacity to recod it, its a free program.
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
then just register at netmusicians ,its also free, and upload the mp3 or wav file.
after it uploads, it gives you a link for the file.

I like the sounds I am hearing.
Baranger1 did a crystals patch for the vg99 and it is possible. He won't give away the patch but did tell how he made it over at the vguitar forum. It sounds just as cool.
Shouldn't be impossible though.

This wasn't really made for public consumption, but since the subject has come-up I'll share about twenty-seconds of something I made.
I was going for violin tone by combining five different digital multi-fx/amp modelers, in various combinations (of which I don't ever remember the order/settings).
You be the judge (of the tone, please---the playing is admittedly amateurish)

Not to be a wet blanket..but I just use my volume knob and have learned how to do a pretty good Violin impersonation. I didnt invent this technque, just use it a bit.
Works well, and no extra gear needed.
