Hey everyone!

I post primarily in Guitar Jam, Recording Forums and the Drum Forum, but you can find me lurking in most of the other ones a lot of the time. :o

I primarily make my living as a private guitar instructor, but I also do some session work, small scoring projects, and a live hired gun. I'm currently in rehearsals with a friend's band and my rig is a bit unorthodox. I'm using a late-gen white iMac with NI's Guitar Rig 3 w/ Rig Kontrol. At the academy I teach at I have my older PC running Guitar Rig 2 and that is what I use with my students every day. It's been very beneficial since it gives me direct control of their volume and I can quickly tweak tones to suit the song and easily transition from those different tones mid song. For live use the Rig Kontrol makes it even easier, although I do have a backup in case I run into any issues when we're live... hopefully I can provide more info on that once we've started playing shows.

Since I'm running the iMac with Logic, I'm also hoping to integrate Mainstage into the act (and Craig, if you did a Pro Review on Mainstage that would be flippin' sweet... :o) which would also allow me access to the amp sims inside of Logic, as well as the synth and samples I play as well (this is an industrial band.) Eventually I hope to have it figured out well enough that I can use it with my own solo acoustic live set, as it seems a really unique and powerful way to streamline a lot of the steps.

The guy at the shop should have told you the action could be dropped. I think he just thought wou were a novice and didnt want to take the time to inform you.debt consolidation loan for homeowner (http://www.adverse-mortgage-centre.co.uk/debt-consolidation-loan-for-homeowner.html) Usually the shop offers to drop the action for free at the time of purchase, so he either thought you were happy with it or just wanted to get you in and out.Life Insurance (http://www.compuquotes.com) You did it your self so more power to you. I guess action is a personal perference so maybe he thought it was okay.I dont know, sounds fishy
