Nothing wrong with it...the script (the lack of cut on the b and the o) are typical of that era(both my 73 Deluxes are the same)

the edges seem to have more of a point too

well they are Customs:D
could be just different years...are those two headstocks listed both as 75's

edit: also, i looked this up, didn't realize, ironically, dote means the decay of wood when used as a noun

I was watching a doc on the man Les Paul last night(Chasing Sound)...and it actually opened up with a shot of Les playing a Custom without a dot on the "i".
This thread came to my mind.
I doubt he was playing a counterfeit.

The corners of the headstock do seem a little more pointed than usual. I also find it unprofessional and a little suspect when sellers don't put in their location in the information box.
