can anybody advise me ,if thease pick ups can be copied,as i am thinking of buying thease for my lads RG

Every time you purchase something on eBay, you take the risk of being scammed. There is no way to verify the authenticity of those pickups by just looking at the photo, but luckily PayPal offers buyer protection if anything does go wrong.

just out of intrest,if i do buy them how can i tell the diffrence in the real jem pick ups and the rip off copys ?

The pole pieces are the right color if they indeed came from a JEM 555. Dimarzio don't tag their pickups; they just write the model number on the back, which doesn't really tell you much in my opinion (the seller cited the right ones though). I suppose you could measure their DC resistance. For example, the Evolution bridge is rated at 13.84k, so if you get one that's off by more than 1.5k, I suggest you return them.
