Hey! My band Searing Solace recently finished our first song, "What You've Never Seen". The average age is 17, so we don't have that many money to buy recording equiptment. Here's what the final result sounds like. Please state your opinions on sound, songcraft and whatnot!

Welcome to the Songwriting Forum.

The basic mission of the forum is the discussion of the art and craft of songwriting and offering assistance with feedback and constructive criticism on new songs and other works in progress. Of course, giving thoughtful comment requires some time and energy.

For that reason, we do only allow posting of finished works and promo in the sticky thread at the top of the forum: Share YOUR songs-post your mp3's HERE (http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34548) and the monthly Showcase threads: March 2009 Showcase Thread :: Finished work, videos, career news, gossip... (http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2260073)

Like so much in life -- what you get out of it will likely depend on what you put in...

I hope you'll share your insight with others when they're looking for critiques -- it's a great way to let people get to know you. And the more that people know you as someone who is willing to help out, the more eager they'll be to help you when you're looking for some good ol' constructive crit.

:)
