View Full Version : I need YOUR help in developing a VST echo effect!

For my senior project I am developing an echo effect as a VST plugin. I need to survey musicians on the internet to find out what features they would like to see in an echo unit.

What basic type features do you think should be included? Delay time, feedback, mix, input level, output level, etc...

Do you think it should be a multi-tap echo?

What other features would you like to see that aren't your run of the mill echo/delay features?

Any comments about this AT ALL are welcomed.

What happened to the original thread? We already gave you great suggestions. Now go and implement them! I want my envelope shaping, reversing, multi-band filtered, multi tap delay plug-in, and I want it now!

Sheesh, what are we paying the guy for?

Oops! How did I end up in hardwares? I must have made a wrong turn at lighting...
Now where the hell is the exit?

Sorry, I posted this thread in a few forums. Not everone is quite as free with their forum browsing as you are!

I swear, I'm almost done. If you don't like it, I'll give you a refund.
