After reading all the horror stories here on counterfeit guitars, I have decided to release into the market a cache of old guitars I got from the original owner. He had these in his closet for over 40 years. His wife passed away years ago and he came down with a muscular disorder that prevented him from playing. He is the original owner and a Vietnam, Korean, and WWII war vet who is honest and forthright and is disabled and in need of your money.

The first one from this man's estate is a 1962 Les Paul in black finish.

Just let me know the quantity you need and give me about one week per guitar to get them in shape. Quantities are limited; please no more than 10 to a single mailing address. $1,000/each. That's a lot less than the $50,000 these babies normally bring. I just want to help the guy out some what with his disability and all.

The next one is a 1963 Fender Stratocaster. This is a singular masterpiece in NM condition. My friend says that his dear departed wife used to love this guitar. I have about 500 pieces of this one to move, so let's say $750/ea, which is a big savings over the $22,000 you can resell them for!

I've got more that I just don't have the time to put up here. So tell me what you need, what year, what finish, and what condition and give me a few weeks per guitar ordered.

These being actual relics and all, they may have spelling errors and parts interchanged, but that's what you get for a $1,000, 50 year old guitar.

"Because they are real they may not look like it or even be close, but that just proves they are real."

"In all reality, Gibson didn't learn to spell their name until at least the 70s so that explains this Gibosn guitar."

Well look at that , frets over the binding and screw adjusted bridges. Must be "custom shop " shit , right ?

Precisely! And of course, I only take Western Union as payment or I can send you cashier's checks to cash for me so you can send me the money via Western Union.

I wonder if that ad is really tongue in cheek. I mean only the stupidest of the stupid could be taken in based on what he disclosed.

That Les Paul must be worth a fortune, the only one in existence made in 1962 !

I'm still waiting for a price on a Johnny Smith Guild.

http://www.vintagemaster.ch/db/shop/10210028.jpg

Guild stopped making them in 1960 when Johnny Smith moved over
to Gibson. 16,200 Euro is the best price I can find.

Can you offer one for around $200 US?
How many do you have in stock? What colors?

I'd like one in canary yellow?

Can I pick up that 1947 Ibanez Iceman? Sweet! And I heard you have a 70's Line 6 Variax that I'd be interested in.

even back in the day, if he could buy that many guitars he must have been famous.

and awefully powerful to convince gibby to make a few 1962 lps... I wish I had that kind of power

Don't believe this seller.

I ordered a Guild Johnny Smith from him for $200.

http://www.vintagemaster.ch/db/shop/10210028.jpg

And here is what he sent me. It's not even the right brand!

Can I just ask: is "cache" the right collective noun for guitars? Just in case I ever stumble across such a thing :)

The seller assured me it was just a mistake in the shipping department. They shipped me the wrong guitar. They shipped
the $200 Guild Johnny Smith to someone named Hegenwill. Or maybe it was Hegenwont. I don't remember.

Anyway, I shipped the Gretsch Wild West back to him in the cardboard box it came in. And he promised he'd ship me a virgin 1957 Guild Johnny Smith just as soon as he receives my guitar back from Hegenwillorwont. Not only that, he's giving me 15% off the $200 price tag. So I'll cut the dealer some slack for now.

He's probably reputable & honest. Otherwise, he'd be on EBay.
