I finally had the pleasure of meeting Steve Vai at the Carvin "meet & greet" at NAMM this year. I've only idolized this guy as the ultimate guitar god for about 20 years... high time I met him and got some pic's and autographs :)

I met him at the Carvin booth in 2002 and I was really impressed by how approachable and kind a guy he was. Doing that kind of gig year after year and day after day has got to get old, but he never shows it. He and Craig Chaquico were very cool, genuine guys who appreciated people caring enough to take time to meet them.
