From the lack of action, I'd say that few have been formally introduced to the Shuttle series.
Genz Benz shows that you actually can cheat physics. Those light class D amps and neodymium speaker cabs sound massive. They move lots and lots of air. 5 string? No problemo! The amp heads are incredibly strong and weigh less than 5 lbs!
If there is just something satisfying about hauling around amp heads that weigh in at 80 lbs, then the Shuttle series is not for you. If you like the idea of coming in without a two-wheeler, carrying your instrument AND the complete amp in one trip, you owe it to yourself to check out a Shuttle setup. A Shuttle 6.0 head and a NEOX-212T cab, you're done! That head/cab combo is $1600 all day without even trying very hard. Wait till an online sale happens somewhere with 15% off or more, bingo! And Genz Benz doesn't play the monarch card by not allowing storewide discounts to apply to their products.
The times have changed. You CAN get huge clear physical bass at 65 lbs TOTAL and priced very reasonably. Class D amps... they work!

Just to be a pain, I'll vote for the new blackface UA 610 and the SVT plugin :D
I'll put in an oddball choice - Roland Micro Cube Bass RX. Because it's a product I've been waiting for forever.
Highly portable battery amp that actually sounds like a good bass amp within its volume limits. I can now play bass without AC. And it's loud enough to work in an acoustic setting (unlike an acoustic bass guitar).
I've used it for outdoor jam sessions, campfire settings, backyard practicing, on vacation.
There's a bunch of other features that are useful. The drum machine gets used for groove practice. Don't use the effects much - not because they're bad, but because I'm not much of a bass effects guy. I DO use the stereo input jack all the time to turn it into a nice amp for my IPod - sounds surprisingly good, and has real bass.
But none of that is really important. What counts is that it succeeds at its main goal - a good sounding battery powered bass amp.

I agree with JS, Roland Microcube Bass RX. It's not flash, it just sounds good and loud for a battery/practice amp
