He says he's going to be able to log on tonight and answer at least a couple questions, and do some more tomorrow.
He called between sessions, I guess he's going a little nuts right now. But I can confirm that he does in fact exist...hopefully there won't be any issues with the registration process.

Yeah, me too! This whole thing just proves a rule I discovered many years ago: When you deal with the artist directly, things are more likely to work out than when you're going through layers of handlers.

Well if he can't do this, I'm pulling the plug. Ray obviously had a lot he needs to get done, and a big tour coming up in January. I'm not going to hold him to something that he's just doing because he's a nice guy. We can always reschedule.

I think it is sad that he, a grown man, can't keep his promise. More disrespectful than anything.

Is it really a surprise we're being stood up? I bet you he's logged on, and off after seeing all these bullshit troll threads.

I agree with this - I wouldn't want to come on here and be razed by these guys either. Maybe if some of these guys could show a paycheck from playing/recording, their belittlement would actually mean something?

whoahhh wait a sec....
1) I agree a person who offers time and energy should be treated with respect.
however
2) This is a music forum..it's main posters are MUSICIANS..and I don't know about you..but every musician I know, is a bit quirky to start with...and frankly HC isn't Point/Counterpoint....I have always found that a light heart'ed conversation is the best kind to have on the internet.
3) With your combined under 400 posts, r u really in a position to understand what HC is about?
just saying...and frankly I hope he does show...for all that drummers get bashed...good ones are VERY TALENTED and have lots of great music knowledge to share.

I don't think it has to do with respect, I'm not sure the parameters of this experiment were communicated to him properly. He was apparently expecting something more like a real-time chat situation--get in and get out--whereas I set up the Q& A format so he could log on whenever he had the chance, and answer the questions that were most relevant.
I got a little insight into what he's dealing with right now when we talked, and he really does want to do this. But he's also being pulled in a lot of directions at once. As far as I'm concerned, if he can make the time to interact here, that would be great. But if he can't, I wouldn't think any less of him.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see what happens in this forum. I find it's quite broken up into cliques. I've never belonged to a more off-topic environment w/ so many trolls. But, there's some legitimate social networking here along w/ legitimate on topic discussion.
I literally lurked here for years before I thought "oh what the hell?" But I enjoy several other forums - w/ the same forum name.
Arguably, I do take a somewhat argumentive stance in here - mostly because you are constantly confronted (so, yeah- it really is point/counter-point)
MAINLY, this section was set up specifically for this guy to come on and be approached by us mere mortals - and I wouldn't be surprised if he has checked it out and is actually put off by the kind of discussion present. We see this stuff every day - and know it's mostly light-hearted. But, he's probably too busy for internet forums - or not nerdy enough? Maybe he thinks these guys wondering about who you have to blow to get your own forum; or, how bad it sucks to play with such a shitty band; and, belittling him for being late ARE REALLY THIS BAD OF ASSHOLES. you know, like he might actually take what you say at face value?
I could show you quite a few. Are you a drummer too?
I'm something of a hack - while I have been playing 20 years - I haven't been serious enough or really had enough direction - and, of course - I'm always trying to improve.
I for 1 cannot show any paychecks for playing music - but I wouldn't mind getting some advice from someone who is actually playing with world class acts like Korn.

While I'm not a fan of Ray Luzier most of you jack asses have no respect. Thank you Anderton for attempting to bring professionalism to the site, and being new to synths and Sonar I have much respect. Some people on this site are actually working on their craft rather than just finding a support group to regress to adolescence.

Ray has been Korn's touring drummer for a year. He followed Jordison, who filled in for about 5-6 months in 2007 after Silveria left on hiatus.

I sincerely doubt he's not showing up because a bunch of strangers said funny things on "his" forum. He's with Korn, you think they never make disgusting jokes to each other? Sure he might not be best friends with the rest of the band, but you don't join a band with singles like "Big Black Kock" and "All Day I Dream About Sex" if a few jokes has you running for the hills.
