Can someone tell me how to get tracks from digital performer to cd without using extra software, the way i understand it you can do this from i-tunes is this correct can some one help i,m a newbie

First of all you need to select all your audio tracks and do a Bounce To Disk from (I think) the Audio Menu. Make sure you're bouncing the file at 16bit/44.1khz. You want to bounce an interleaved audio file, I think, but I don't think DP will let you do that...so just let it do its thing.
From there, open iTunes and "Add to Library" the newly bounced file. Should be able to burn it from there.
If iTunes won't allow you to use the non-interleaved file, you might need to download a copy of SparkME from TC|works. I think they have a free version for OS 9...
Otherwise, some other share/freeware audio application will also allow you to convert a non-interleaved (SDII) file to an interleaved file (AIFF), which is what you'll ultimately need to burn to CD.
