get backing tracks like say Soundgardens "Black hole sun" with just the band behind you where you can pop it in the cd player and sing or do they even make those:confused: With any band or song BTW

I found that using limewire is very cool. Search Karaoke, and you will get a lot of hits. Just keep checking. You can also of course do Karaoke blackhole sun. Etc.

Also, use bittorrent. Same search. You will get big file oportunities. I have found some really cool backing tracks.

The key with backing tracks is that you have to kinda except what is out there. Sure, you can buy karaoke cds. But you end up with a bunch of things you don't like. You really aren't going to constantly get what you want. But if you try sometimes, you get what you need. I couldn't resist.

I am lucky because I dig crooner type music. And, there seems to be a bunch of that stuff from time to time. It is a great way to train.

or make your own.... with band in a box....

of course, you need to know some chords and song structure... but if you know that is easy....

and you are not "pirating" backtracks you do not have.
