Well, as a singer, I've always embraced and adored dancing as a handy counterpart to singing. I mean, after all, you can't just stand there, right?
I like to do old-style jazz dancing mostly. Ring shouts, a little bit of tap influence, with a modern flair. However, depending upon the band I'm jamming with, I've also been known to pull off the hyperself-destructive seizure thing (Think like Kurt Cobain or that bloke from joy devision) all the way to singing an entire gig pacing back and forth across the stage like a big cat in a zoo.
Do you dance? If so, feel free to elaborate. If not, then why not? Dancing burns calories, and makes you less self-concious! (sometimes)
