how is this problem solved for use of equipment when touring??
anyone??
i just wanna know how the problem is solved about using pedals and amps and stuff in areas with different power supplies.

i dont know the answer to it, but these are my guesses:
1) the venues most likely will compensate for the differences in voltages and prongs and things from country to country (this is not a likely option)
2) most electronic stores sell special thingies that convert one voltage, current, and shape to another. theyre about 10 bucks a piece.
3) all/some of the above

Most of the time, tour gear is rented. For example, if one is going to tour in Europe, the hire company usually will be a European company and therefore would have their gear set up for Euro AC requirements.
For your personal gear you'll need a transformer.
