I´m a memeber ! :D

Did you follow the steps required for registering ?
I thought that it was a bit overkill with all procedures to go through just to register.
Anyway, I was accepted even though I "only" had a Quad-pre at the time. :)

Ok here is what Bruce had to say-

Brian I can comment,

Back in October or about that time, we decided to whack all
of the spammers from the group, it was getting way out of hand.
Anyway, we started using a verification process

1. Potential user signs up
2. I get a notification
3. I send the user a verification email

If I do not get a reply with in 48 hours the user is automatically
denied membership.

Most likely this is what happened to your friends, they just need
to re-sign up and go through the verification process.

I'm a member, got bumped some time ago and had to really jump through hoops to get back on.

It's a decent forum, but seems like a lot of unnecessary hassle. Not only that, participants must wallow through "their" unsolicited advertisements while reading entries. Man...

I'd like to find a Triaxis forum where folks can share patch settings and the like.

None the less, I discover new and inspiring sounds every time this rig is powered on.

I get a digest sent to me. That way I don't have to deal with the advertisements.

The group is okay. Probably a bit too much of "how many watts does the TriAxis consume" and "what are the dimensions of the TriAxis" for me. If only people would either read the manual (they're available online) or do a search (huh?). I have, however, learned some good stuff from the group.

If you're sick of advertisements, get the digest. Just like chewing your food, the digest is good for you!

Hopefully there's less of that in the past year. We've got a pretty good group of users on the list now from all walks of music and tonal tastes. Bob from Eurotubes is a member of the list as well and always is willing to add his very insightful comments on tubes and amps in general. Feel free to join. The list is more tightly managed than in the past due to the massive infestation of spammers. We now require a pretty short response from each list applicant prior to approving you for membership. We also discourage spammers by not allowing the "No Mail" option. I also encourage those of you that would normally use the "No Mail" option to go for the digest. We don't have hundreds of posts each day or anything, so your inbox won't be overflowing due to us. :)

Have fun and shred 'til yer dead,
Jeff, TriAxis list co-owner on Yahoogroups
