IS there a consumer level video card that support 3 monitors??

I don't think so but you could always get a dual monitor card for agp and get a second video card for PCI, that should work.

eh, careful.

I believe the operating system has to support it as well. You might have to do some digging for this one.

Assuming it's not possible, how about getting two really big monitors and setting your resolution really high? (I'm thinking 2 21"-23" monitors @ 1600x1200)

98 and beyond support up to 9 monitors as long as the monitor drivers support multiples. I am running a Matrox g450 dualhead and a Creative Banshee with no problems under 98. Have been for 3 years. g450 runs a 19" and 17". The Banshee a 15". Careful, the software you run must also support multiple monitors IF you want to spread it over more than one display. A good rule is, if it was made prior to 2000 it won't. I can run my sequencer on the main, my editor on the 2nd and a file manager on the third. However, the more video cards you run, the more unstable your system is. I found the best use is when doing video since the programs needed aren't as all in one as audio is and I need to run multiple apps.
