Would you classify that as an epic failure?

EPIC FAIL indeed.
I have been asking for a vocals forum, and even found a REALLY GOOD vocal instructor who is willing to be the moderator.

what's next? A cowbellist forum?
wait for it......
epic fail. EDIT: oh right it's already been done.
maybe we should just use the epic fail forum as a makeshift vocals forum, seeing as there's probably not going to be a vocals forum anytime soon. I'm not saying let's choose epic fail forum because of the name... just because it's pretty pointless. There's plenty of epic fail everywhere else anyway.

Well, musicians sometimes sing too :thu:
and thus could use advice like what mic makes the voice sound best, how to apply compression or EQ to vocal tracks. It would be a good place to post those Digitech Vocalist product threads that seem to dominate the Pro Reviews forum.
...and i can go on and on ... :blah::blah:

Sometimes my vocals sound like a fail. But never an EPIC fail.

Isn't the epic fail forum and a singers forum redundant....

Probably never get one because singers don't need to buy expensive Musician's Friend amps every other week, looking for teh br00tlz.

First of all, there is now a vocalist's forum. We didn't want to change the Backstage moderator and introduce a new forum at the same time. There were also some issues with VBulletin that needed to be resolved.
Second, we have forums on songwriting, and even a forum that tells how to build your own stuff so you don't even have to buy gear - as well as off topic forums on movies, politics, and consumer electronics, which have nothing to do with MF. So, no conspiracy theories are needed. :)

Very cool. It's been a long time coming, but I'm glad there's finally a singer's forum.
