typed this late monday night after no sleep and lots of Stolie, just my attemp at humor.
Met lots of "stars"
talked lots of guitars,
Heard more music than I could possilbly stand..
But it was by, the very best players in the land.
By people that most have never heard.
But everyone walked away with a new hero learned
Drank plenty of booze...
spent all my time doing the smooze.
saw tons of beautiful hired hotties
with bodies so firm from all the palates
trying to get me to buy their wares
so they could pay for their outrageous hair.
(and all the other cosmetic surgeries.)
the men all talked of guitars and amps,
and state of the economy was the theme of everyones rant.
saw some old friends a very nice treat.
and even some enemies. which left me feeling beat.
everone said that our guitars are the "coolest"
but very few wallets ever came out to prove it.
but we managed to have a great time .
dispite all the nonsense that you've read in this rhyme.
My ears will probably ache for at least another week.
for the volume there kept a constant high peak.
somewhere between I can't hear you and totally deaf
and my voice is gone.. almost nothing left.
but everyone did agree,
that when it was all over, and done for the year..
that the slience that followed was music to our ears..
